Your J. H. Ehlert Grand Piano nr. 1939 is bult in Copenhagen inn the year 1900. The address in Copenhagen was Vester Voldgade 115.
J. H. Ehlert only produced about 50 Grand Pianos and totally aboout 23-2400 pianos.

| Hi.
J. H. EHLERT = Juluis Harald Ehlert, pianofortemanufacturer in Copenhagen 1867-1912. He had leaned the pianomaking by pianomanufacturer J. P. Sörensen in Copenhagen and got further education in Paris and in Germany 1862-67. He exhibited in fairs in Denmrk and Europe and received some mdaillons for his work. He made few square pianos (taffel-pianos), He made //-stringed upright pianos without ironframe, later x-stringed pianos with ironframe and about 50 grand pianos. He made solid and good work - often inspired by frensh design. If you could mail me some photos of the Grand Piano and give me the production number I might be able to find out when the grand piano was made.
